PURPOSE:To make one tire usable for two ways, by forming one side of sidewall surfaces at both symmetrical sides in the tire into a rough surface and the other side into a smooth surface respectively, and attaching both these surfaces selectively to the outside of a vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A pneumatic tire, for example, a passenger car radial tire 1 has a tread surface 2 on the outer circumference, and the specified tread pattern is formed on the surface. And, each of sidewall surfaces 3a and 3b is formed at both symmetrical sides of this tread surface 2. In this case, each surface roughness of these sidewall surfaces 3a and 3b is formed so as to differ with each other. That is to say, one side is formed into smoothness and the other side into a rough surface, respectively. And, when this tire is attached to a vehicle, either side of these sidewall surfaces 3a and 3b is selected according to the travel purpose whereby it is made so as to be opposed to the vehicle outside. With this constitution, one tire is used for two ways.
