PURPOSE:To prevent both the hunting and the engaging shock at the starting time of a vehicle and to prevent a clutch from being burnt to be broken down when the condition where the slippery state is maintained may occur by controlling a starting device by means of a pedal system which is operated by a man. CONSTITUTION:A clutch mechanism 3 consists of an engaging part 31 which is disposed between one end of an input pulley 23 and an engine 1, an actuating part 33 which is disposed at the side of the other end of the input pulley and actuates the engaging part 31, a push rod 35 which is inserted in the hollow part of an input shaft 21, a clutch pedal 6 and the link mechanism 60 of a clutch pedal 6. In the clutch mechanism 3, a push lever 331 is pivotally turned and driven via a cable 62 and a link lever 61 by the stepping operation of a driver on the clutch pedal 6, whereby the releasing and sliding (half-clutching) operation may be effected by the man effort. |
