PURPOSE:To improve the extent of usability, by driving wheels by an electric motor at the time of detecting a hindrance peculiar to an urban area preventing air pollution and noise from occurring, and when an amount of residual battery capacity is little, driving these wheels by an engine. CONSTITUTION:Symmetrical front wheels 23R and 23L are driven by the engine 21 mounted in front of a vehicle 20 via a transmission. Likewise, symmetrical rear wheels 24R and 24L are driven by the battery mounted in the rear of the vehicle 20 via an electric motor 24. In this constitution aforesaid, each signal out of a fault detecting sensor 28 for noise and radio noise or the like and a battery residual capacity detecting sensor 29 is inputted each into a central processing unit 31 in an electronic control circuit 30. And a signal is outputted to a drive selector device 32 from this CPU 31, and either side of the engine 21 or the electric motor 25 is driven. With this constitution, the motor 25 is driven, preventing air pollution and noise from occurring, while a battery is charged with the engine 21 driven. |
