PURPOSE:To suppress formation, i.e., wrapping of deposits based on the electrodeposition of the metal ions in a plating liquid to a feed roll and to improve yield by injecting gas or water to the front, rear, etc., of said roll at the time of continuous electroplating. CONSTITUTION:Air spraying pipings 12 are installed before and behind a conductor roll 5 and air is injected therefrom to the plating liquid 8 carried over from a dam roll 3 to blow off the plating liquid on a steel strip 7. Water spraying pipings 13 are otherwise installed before and behind the roll 5 and water is injected therefrom the dilute the plating liquid 8' accumulating near the roll 5. The contact resistance between the roll 5 and the steel strip 7 is thereby increased and electric current flows in the route of the steel strip 7 the plating liquid 8'' the roll 5 to prevent generation of the above- mentioned wrapping when the rolling down force of the roll 5 is weak or the roll 5 is unevenly worn. A steel sheet is thus obtd. at a high yield.
