PURPOSE:To subject a material to transfer forming reasonably by composing the die of one part of fitting inner die and outer die and guiding the flow of the material in the vertical direction and horizontal direction by the outer die at the pressing time by the inner die. CONSTITUTION:A punch 1 interposes a compression spring 6 between the inner punch 2 fixed to a ram 4 and the outer punch 3 outer-fitted to the punch 2. The step part 2b retreating around a projecting part 2a is provided on the punch 2 and an annular end face 3a is provided on the punch 3. In the case of pressing a blank (b) between the punch 1 and a die 8 the flow (v) in the longitudinal direction for the step part 2b and that (h) in the radial direction along the end face 3a are caused by the elastic pressure of the punch 3 and forcible pressure of the punch 2. A forcible pressure is then applied on the blank (b) with the punch 3 coming into contact with the stopper 5 and integrating with the punch 2. The forming can thus be effected without causing unreasonable deformation and flaw on the material.
