The method can be applied to an English version software with slight or no modification for processing Korean character. A keyboard input module stores pre-operation code stream into a preoperation buffer according to the video state flag and input data. The code stream is provided earlier than the keyboard input data and refreshes the typewriter keyboard flag to be sent to video module. The typewriter mode is determined when the stored data is transfered to the keyboard input buffer. The complete character is generated without any control of the video state flag and the pre-operation when the typewriter mode is set up.
