摘要 PURPOSE:To improve reaction velocity, make equipment compact, and improve thermal efficiency by a method wherein coal ash directly mixed and preheated with the exhaust gas and dust at the outlet of a coal ash improving furnace and they are supplied into the coal ash improving furnace with oxygen-enriched air. CONSTITUTION:Coal ash stored in a coal ash storage tank 3 are supplied into the exhaust gas at the outlet of a cyclone C3 to carry out heat recovery. After the ashes are introduced into a cyclone C4 and separated into the exhaust gas and the ash, the ash are introduced into the exhaust gas at the outlet of a cyclone C2 and then supplied to the cyclone C3. The ash separated at the cyclone C3 is mixed into the exhaust gas at the outlet of a cyclone C1 and then introduced into the cyclone C2 where they are separated into the exhaust gas and the preheated ash. The preheated ash is supplied into a coal ash improving furnace 2 with the auxiliary fuel in an auxiliary fuel storage vessel 4 or independently with oxygen-enriched air and the unburnt content in the coal ash is burnt to reform the ashes. Further, it is desirable that this oxygen-enriched air is previously preheated by direct contact with high temp. improved ash in a cooler 6 for improved ashes and then supplied into the furnace 2.
