PURPOSE:To make heating in a car room speedily performable while preventing a battery's discharge from occurring, by dividing an electric heater into plural heater elements, and energizing each heater element in consecutive order according to size of surplus power in a generator. CONSTITUTION:A device is provided with an electric heater 28, making a battery 20 and a generator 22 being driven by an engine a power supply source, as an auxiliary heater of a main heater. In this case, this electric heater 28 is divided into plural pieces of heater elements 28-1-28-4, and each of heater relays 30-1-30-4 is set up at every heater element, while each heater relay is controlled by a control part 32. And, at the time of engine idling, on the basis of each detection signal out of various sensors 48, 50, 52, etc., detecting a driving state of the engine, an idle-up device 58 is energized by this control part 32. With this constitution, the battery is charged, while current-energization takes lace for these heater elements 28-1-28-4 properly. |
