PURPOSE:To improve accuracy in temperature control, to shorten a high- temperature keeping time and to alleviate embrittlement of a wound core, by performing a heat treatment step utilizing high frequency heating before winding and molding steps of an amorphous magnetic thin strip. CONSTITUTION:An amorphous magnetic thin strip 1 is wound around the outer surface of a roller 2. Thereafter the strip 1 is wound around a core 3 of a winding apparatus. Thus a wound core 4 is formed. A conductor 5 is inserted through the inside of the roller 2. When a high frequency current flows through the conductor 5, the roller 2 is magnetized in the circumferential direction, and a large eddy current is generated. The roller 2 is heated with the loss due to the eddy current, and the amorphous magnetic thin strip 1 is heated with said heat. Thus the accurate temperature control of the amorphous magnetic thin strip 1 can be performed. Since the heating time is very short, embrittlement of the wound core 4 is alleviated.
