PURPOSE:To restrain the temperature rise of an armature winding, by a method wherein the heat of the armature winding is dissipated into a cylinder block or a bracket through heat transfer gel and, at the same time, is dissipated into a transmission case through the heat transfer gel, a ring and a seal. CONSTITUTION:Heat, generated from an armature winding 5, is dissipated into a cylinder block 31 through heat transfer gel 36. The heat, transferred to the cylinder block 31, is dissipated in the cylinder block 31 and, simultaneously, is absorbed into cooling liquid, thereafter, is dissipated in a radiator together with the heat of an engine. At the same time, the heat, generated in the armature winding 5, is dissipated into a transmission case 32 through the heat transfer gel 36, a ring 34 and a seal cover 33. The ring 34 is provided with many fins whereby a contacting area between the ring 34 and the heat transfer gel 36 is increased. |
