PURPOSE:To attain stable signal transmission and power transmission with low loss to a terminal installation at a remote location by connecting a couple of insulation core wires at both ends of a communication cable respectively so as to suppress the attenuation of a transmission signal and the increase in the DC resistance. CONSTITUTION:A couple of core wires L1, L2 are connected respectively at both ends of a communication cable to form parallel core wires comprising a couple of the core wires L1, L2 in a quad. The core wire is formed in each of the two quads N1 and N51, and the parallel cores P1, P51 are used as forward/return conductors. Through the constitution above, the DC resistance of the conductor is halved and the equivalent distance between the parallel core wires P1, P51 is far larger than the distance between the core wires. Furthermore, the equivalent diameter of the core wires is larger than the diameter of the single core wire because the two core wires are connected in parallel. Thus, the equivalent high frequency resistance and the line capacitance are decreased more than those in using the cores in a single quad, the external inductance is increased and the attenuation constant of the signal gets smaller.
