PURPOSE:To obtain the titled resin giving high vibration damping performance and adhesiveness when sandwiched in between two metal plates, capable of press molding, by reaction a polyesterdiol from each specific aliphatic dicarboxylic acid, etc. and aliphatic glycol, chain extender and diisocyanate. CONSTITUTION:The objective resin consisting mainly of a polyurethane resin with a number-average molecular weight 8,000-100,000 and glass transition temperature -50-+30 deg.C, by reaction between (A) a polyesterdiol with molecular weight 600-6,000 in which >=60mol.% of the dicarboxylic acid component is 4-20C aliphatic dicarboxylic acid and/or alicyclic dicarboxylic acid and >=50mol.% of the glycol component is 3-6C-aliphatic glycol (derivative) having alkyl group in the side chain, (B) a chain extender with a molecular weight <=400 and (C) a diisocyanate compound in such weight ratio as A:B:C=100:1-20:10-100 with 0.85-1.15 equivalent of the NCO group in the component C per equivalent of the active hydrogen group in the components A+ or -B. |
