PURPOSE:To detect a main circuit current correctly, by taking out the stabilized part of the leading edge of a current detecting pulse as a current signal. CONSTITUTION:A current detecting circuit is provided with a current pulse detecting circuit 2, a current signal generating circuit 6 and a peak hold circuit 7. A DC stabilized power source is provided with a main switching circuit 1, a main transformer 3, a rectification smoothing circuit 4 and a stabilized control circuit 5. The same power source receives a power source input through an input terminal T1 and delivers a stabilized power source output through an output terminal T2 while delivering a detecting current signal I3 through a detecting terminal T3. The detecting circuit 2 is connected between the main switching circuit 1 and the main transformer 3 to detect the primary side current of the main transformer 3. The current signal generating circuit 6 extracts only the part of the leading edge of a current detecting pulse while synchronizing with a switching signal for a short period of time and delivers it as a current signal I2. Further, the current signal I2 is outputted by a peak hold circuit 7 as the detecting current signal I3.
