The invention relates to a piston/cylinder mechanism of the type which is subjected to the action of centrifugal forces F and which comprises both a cylinder 1 provided with a first fastening lug 5 and a piston 2 which can be moved back and forth in the cylinder and has a piston rod 3, at the free end of which, which protrudes from the cylinder, a second fastening lug is arranged.
