PURPOSE:To obtain the titled aqueous solution stable with time, by adding aluminum sulfate, etc., to a dilute aqueous solution of auramine and keeping the solution at a specific pH. CONSTITUTION:A dilute aqueous solution of auramine (e.g. having a concentration of 0.6%) is added with aluminum sulfate or aluminum chloride of an amount necessary to keep the solution at pH 4.0-6.0.
