<p>PURPOSE:To read an X-ray image in a short period by transferring a plane image plate, on which the X-ray image is picked up, onto a rotating drum utilizing electrostatic transfer and reading an electric charge image. CONSTITUTION:The X-ray image transmitted through a body 16 to be examined is projected to a plane image plate 5 where a phosphor film 3, a transparent conductive film 3, and an amorphous semiconductor film 4 are laminated on a light shielding Al substrate 1. A two-dimensional distribution of electric resistance corresponding to the X-ray image is formed on the semiconductor film by the light emitted from the phosphor film. The voltage pattern on the plate 5 is electrostatically transferred to an insulating film 7 consisting of a polyester or the like coated on the rotating drum 6. A potential probe 11 is scanned in the axial direction of the drum while rotatively driving the drum 6 to read the electric charge image spirally along the outside peripheral surface of the drum 6. Thus, a reproduced image of the X-ray image which is quickly read and is superior in signal processing is obtained.</p> |
