PURPOSE:To obtain the titled pack cosmetic to be uniformly dispersed in water, etc., when used to give a moderately controlled rate of gelatinization and high performance, by using a water-soluble alginic acid salt, an alkaline earth metal salt, glucono-delta-lactone, a liquid oil and a nonionic surfactant as essential components. CONSTITUTION:The titled pack cosmetic contains 5-30wt.% water-soluble alginic acid salt (e.g. Na salt), 5-50wt.% alkaline earth metal salt (e.g. CaCO3), 1-10wt.% glucono-delta-lactone, 30-70wt.% liquid oil (e.g. liquid hydrocarbon oil) and 1-7wt.% nonionic surfactant (e.g. polyoxyethylene sorbitan fatty acid ester). Since the gel-formation rate can be controlled by the addition of glucono- delta-lactone, a uniform and high-quality coating film can be formed. The cosmetic has improved dispersibility in water, etc., gives emollient effect to skin and has excellent peelability. |
