摘要 PURPOSE:To provide a regenerative heat exchanger, capable of taking out the heat of high temperature and low in heat loss, by a method wherein heat source side operating medium is made to flow from a center side heat accumulating member toward an outer peripheral side heat accumulating member while load side operating medium is made flow from the latter to the former. CONSTITUTION:The vessel 36 of a regenerative heat exchanger 3 is partitioned into several tanks by insulative members 35 and the tank, nearer to the center of the vessel 36, is filled with heat accumulating agent having the melting point or the transient point of a high temperature. A high-temperature heat accumulating tank 32, a medium-temperature heat accumulating tank 333 and a low-temperature heat accumulating tank 34 are arranged from the center of the vessel toward the outside of the same. Heat source side heat collecting medium 2' is distributed into the heat source side heat transfer tubes 24 of a proper number while the medium 2' passes through respective heat accumulating tanks 32, 33, 34 sequentially and returns to the side of a heat source while providing the heat accumulating agent in respective tanks with the heat thereof. On the other hand, feed water 6 or the operating medium of a turbine is distributed into load side heat transfer tubes 29 of a proper number and enters at first into the low-temperature heat accumulating tank 34 of the outermost tube, then, passes through respective tanks 32, 32 sequentially in a direction reverse to the flow direction of the heat source side hat collecting medium and receives heat from heat accumulating agents in respective tanks, thereafter, is evaporated and becomes high-temperature steam to be supplied to the turbine.
