PURPOSE:To securely fix the hang supporting member to a lightweight thin filter body by providing a supporting bar to the outer surface of the filter body and slidably engaging said bar with guide rails to hang and support said filter body. CONSTITUTION:Each filter plate 6 consists of a frame body 6a working as a filter body forming a filtrating space 6b in its center part, a supporting bar 8 provided to the upper part of the frame body 6a, and a wire 9 working as a connecting member connecting the bar 8 with the frame body 6a. The supporting bar 8 is fixed to the upper outer surface of the frame body 6a in its middle part 8b, and its both ends form projecting parts 8a, 8a projecting from both sides of the frame body 6a. An L-shaped sliding member 8d is fixed to the lower surface of each projecting part, and each sliding member is put on the guiding rail 4 with the projection 8f of the sliding member 8d brought into contact with the inner surface of the guiding rail 4 to guide the sliding motion of the filter plate 6 to the front and rear direction.
