The airtight and watertight electrical installation comprises an outer casing 1 in which the members 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 of the installation to be insulated from the ambient atmosphere are grouped together. The installation comprises a substantially vertical rigid panel 7 fixed to a horizontal frame 8, one of the faces 9 of this panel 7 supporting in cantilever the said members 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 to be insulated from the ambient atmosphere, and the casing 1, which surrounds these members 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 is fixed in a removable and sealed manner against the said face 9 of the panel 7 and can slide in relation to the panel 7.
