The control valve for the filling operation is inserted in a conduit between the storage tank and a mouthpiece used to fill other vessels with fluid coming from the tank. The mouthpiece has an increasing inner cross-sectional area, reckoned from its connection with the conduit towards its outer end which uis is fitted with fine-meshed netting of stainless steel. Suitable dimensions for the equipment are for the conduit to have an tebna internal dia. of 7mm., the dia. of the mouthpiece at the connection to the conduit 7mm., and at its free end 15mm. Each hole in the netting is 0.3 x 0.3 mm., and the netting is composed of wires of 0.1 mm. To operate the appts., the electronic unit is used, via its push buttons, to adjust the required volume of liq. The flow meter measures the liq. flowing from the storage tank, and transmits a corresp. signal to the electronic unit. When the required liq. volume has passed the meter, the electronic unit emits a cut-off signal to the valve. |
