PURPOSE:To shorten the injection time of torque converter oil and to test the performance of a torque converter in a short time by directing the axis of the torque converter nearly vertically so that an output shaft can be inserted from above. CONSTITUTION:The torque converter oil is injected to a level shown by a two alternate long and short dashes line during the conveyance of the torque converter 120, which is engaged and mounted by a torque converter carrying-in/out device 11 on a surface plate 13 coupled with an input-side torque meter 12; and an output shaft coupler 15 with which an output-side torque meter 14 is coupled is inserted into the torque converter 120 from above and then the remaining torque converter oil is charged in the torque converter 120, thereby starting testing the performance. When the test is finished, the output shaft coupler 15 is extracted from the torque converter 120, the torque converter 120 is detached from the surface plate 13 by the torque converter carrying-in/out device 11, and a new torque converter 120 is engaged and mounted on this surface plate 13, thereby repeating the performance test. |
