<p>PURPOSE:To accurately recognize deterioration of absorbent by detecting an O2 amt. in an exhaust from a regeneration tower, an O2 amt. blown into the regeneration tower, an amt. of HCN and H2S contained in an undesulfurized gas and in a desulfurized gas and a flow rate of the desulfurized gas, and then measuring a conversion ratio of S or S2O3<2-> based on the detected data. CONSTITUTION:H2S is absorbed and removed by introducing the undesulfurized gas into an absorption tower 11 for undesulfurizing gas and bringing the gas into contact with an absorbing liq. of aq. ammonia contg. a catalyst such as naphthoquinone ammonium sulfonate. The absorbing liq. is transported to the regeneration tower 12 and then S2O3<2-> and S are formed there by blowing the air into the liq. At that time, the flow rate of the undesulfurized gas is measured with the flow-rate detector 14, H2S and HCN in the undesulfurized gas are measured with the detector 15, 16 and H2S and HCN in the desulfurized gas are measured with the detector 17, 18, furthermore the amt. of feed air to the regeneration tower is measured with the detector 19 and O2 in the exhaust system of the regeneration tower is measured with the detector 20. Then, the conversion ratio of SO4<->, S2O3<2-> and S is quickly measured by these detecting data.</p> |
