PURPOSE:To contrive a security protection of each independent operator, and also, to reduce the cost of a device, and to reduce the installation area by connecting plural sets of keyboards in parallel to one set of work station. CONSTITUTION:An input device discriminating register provided on each keyboard 11 with a card reader is set uniquely to each separate device by a terminal equipment software at the time of initializing a system. In this state, when the keyboard 11 with a card reader has been switched, the contents of its input device discriminating register 12 are provided as an input device discriminating code to a port 4, by which the terminal equipment software can recognize separately the keyboard 11 with a card reader, which has been connected. Also, at every keyboard 11 with a card reader, an ID No. management table is provided by a software, and whenever the input device discriminating code, an ID No. and other command are inputted, the software executes a reference and updating of its table. In such a way, a security processing can be executed without interposing an operation by an operator. |
