PURPOSE:To improve weather resistance and resistance to fading of color of a molded article of polyvinyl chloride resin to great extent by forming coating film on the surface of the molded article, when the article is molded by extrusion, by forcing a polyvinyl chloride sol paint into a molding machine at a part near an extrusion die. CONSTITUTION:Coating film is formed on the surface of a molded article of polyvinyl chloride resin, when the article 6 is produced by extrusion molding with an extrusion molding machine 1, by forcing a polyvinyl chloride sol paint into the molding machine from a paint tank 7 at a part near an extrusion die 5. As a result, the weather resistance and the resistance to fading of color are improved to great extent. By using an inexpensive polyvinyl chloride resin compsn. and forming thin coating film, the overall material cost is reduced. Moreover, mass production of coated article is possible with a simple production installation and simple operation. |
