Polyfluorinated acids and process for their preparation

The invention relates to acids containing simultaneously a perfluorinated chain and a hydrogenated chain. These acids of general formula: <IMAGE> in which RF is the perfluoroalkyl radical, m an integer ranging from 0 to 2 and RH an alkyl radical, are prepared by hydrolysis of the amides of formula: <IMAGE> R1 and R2 representing hydrogen atoms or methyl radicals. These acids and their salts can be used as surface-active agents or as intermediates in the synthesis of such agents.
