PURPOSE:To prevent the bounce of resin and the generation of foams by transferring a nozzle toward the inner circumferential part from the outer circumferential part of a disk while rotating the disk at a low-velocity rotation region and continuously discharging resin and fixing the nozzle in the innermost circumferential part of the region for forming a protective film. CONSTITUTION:Resin 8 is applied by continuously transferring a nozzle 2 for discharging resin in a region over an inner circumferential part from the outer circumferential part of an optical disk base body 1 in such a state that the base body 1 to be formed with a protective film is rotated at a low-velocity rotation region and also the nozzle 2 is fixed in the innermost circumferential part 6 of the above-mentioned region and resin is applied. Thereafter resin is applied on all parts of the surface of the region for forming the protective film of the base body 1 by rotating the base body 1 at a high-velocity rotation region via an intermediate-velocity rotation region. As a result, the shape of the coated film in the innermost circumferential part of the optical disk is made to a fine concentric circular shape and also both bounce of resin on the film region and generation of foams can be prevented.
