PURPOSE:To moderate the hue of the titled material, without reducing the photographic sensitivity by composing the emulsion layer of the titled material of a silver chlorobromide particle which does not contain iodine and is a monodispersion system, and by increasing the compounding ratio of silver bromide contd. in the surface part to that in core part of said particle. CONSTITUTION:The emulsion layer is composed from the silver chlorobromide particle which is the monodispersion system, and the ratio of the silver bromide contd. in the surface part of said particle to that of the core part thereof is increased in the silver chlorobromide particle. The substrate body has preferably a nonpenetrating property against water. The silver chlorobromide particle having the high ratio of silver bromide in the surface part of the particle is exemplified by the silver chlorobromide particle which is formed silver bromide in the surface part of the particle by a conversion method or the core shell type particle having the high silver bromide ratio in the shell part of the particle. Thus, the hue of a silver image is controlled, and the pressure resistance of the titled material is improved. |
