PURPOSE:To facilitate manufacture by providing a lubricating oil feeding pump on the side of a cylinder block and integrally forming a cover for covering said pump with the housing cover of a fuel injection pump. CONSTITUTION:In a Diesel engine, a housing cover 75 of a fuel injection pump which has a cam shaft parallel with a crank shaft is installed on the side of its cylinder block. In this case, a lubricating oil feeding pump is provided on the side of the cylinder block and a cover 93 for covering this lubricating oil feeding pump is installed on the side of the cylinder block while this cover 93 is integrally formed with the cover 75, forming a cover 99. And, on this integrally formed cover 99, a suction passage 103 and a discharge passage 105 are communicated to the recessed part 95 of the cover 93, while an oil passage 107 which is communicated to a bearing part 77 for rotatably supporting the cam shaft of the fuel injection pump and a relief passage 109 are branched off of the discharge passage 105. |
