PURPOSE:To obtain superior recording and reproduction, by arranging two magnetic heads for recording and reproduction in which micro cavities are provided for the plane of a rotary magnetic disk so as to be separated by odd times the track width and inclined with each other in a reverse direction by a given angle in the perpendicular direction of a track. CONSTITUTION:The magnetic heads Ha and Hb are fitted fixedly at the rear notched parts 10a and 10b of a slider S so as to be arranged in a way stated below by using a mineral bonding agent. In other words, the longitudinal directions of the micro gaps ga and gb provided on the heads are inclined by a given angle theta in a reverse direction with each other for a direction perpendicular to the extending direction of the track, and also, and a distance L between the centers of the gaps is set so as to satisfy an equation L=(2n+1)TP assuming (n) as a natural number and TP as a track pitch. By constituting a product in such a way, since adjacent tracks can be recorded with the heads Ha and Hb with azimuths reversed with each other, it is possible to reduce crosstalk even when the guard bands ga and gb are narrowed, therefore, to obtain the recording and reproduction with high density. |
