PURPOSE:To narrow an optical space by arranging three second - third mirrors adjacently to one another besides two first mirrors, which are arranged in corresponding positions on both sides of an exposure part of an object, to form an optical path. CONSTITUTION:Images of both sides of an object 2 illuminated by illuminating lamps 22 and 22' in the exposure part are reflected on first mirrors 24 and 24' and pass through slits 25 and 25' of a slit plate. Images which pass slits 25 and 25' are reflected downward obliquely by a second mirror 26. These images are reflected upward in the vertical direction by a third mirror 27 and are reflected downward obliquely by a fourth mirror (final mirror) 28. Images reflected on the fourth mirror 28 pass an image forming lens 29 and are focused on a film 30. Since the optical path plane formed with first mirrors 24 and 24' and the second mirror 26 and that formed with the third mirror 27 and the fourth mirror 28 cross at right angles in this manner, the optical space is narrowed, that is, a device body is miniaturized.
