PURPOSE:To remarkably reduce the occurrence of radioactive corrosion products, by reducing <58>Ni isotope content in an Ni-base alloy as a nuclear reactor structural member. CONSTITUTION:In the Ni-base alloy as a nuclear reactor structural member, the content of a <58>Ni isotope, as a principal component, to be transformed into <58>Co as a rediocative corrosion product by neutron irradiation is remarkably reduced as compared with other Ni isotope contents. This nuclear reactor structure member made of Ni-base alloy is reduced in the amount of generated corrosion products to be transformed into <58>Co by neutron irradiation, so that radioactivity level in a nuclear-reactor primary-system structural material can be reduced.
