Nozzles are provided for ejecting fire extinguishent pressurised in a solution tank by a gas vessel. A frame is connected to the sealed part of the solution tank through gas lines. A slidable seal opening mechanism is provided adjacent the gas vessel, being resiliently pressurised up to a preset temp. by a heat sensitive mechanism (218), e.g. low temp. solder. The compression of the seal resiilient bias is released at the preset temp. and an alarm simultaneously operated, e.g. via an electrical switch. The switch can comprise a plate interposed between the seal and bias spring. |
