<p>PURPOSE:To easily comprehend each data required in a printing operation, by a method wherein, in a circular printing, after the input of an origin, a radius, an angle, and the like marks for recognition are generated on positions corresponding to a line head and a line end in relation to the specified radius. CONSTITUTION:When an area 43 is set by an area-designating switch 33 as a printable area, the operation advances to a control part 21. An origin P and polar coordinate points M1 (r1, theta1), M2 (r2, theta2) in a polar coordinate with an origin of the point P are inputted to a command part IN by using a ten key, etc. The origin P is stored in an origin storage part 23, and the points M1, M2 are stored in positional information storage parts 22-1, 22-2. A circular printing command switch 29 and a circumferential setting switch 30 are turned ON; the control part 21 reads the coordinate value of the origin P, the coordinate value (r1, theta1) of the point M1, and the coordinate value (r2, theta2) of the point M2 upon receiving a signal; and an arithmetic part 36 calculates the length to the preset printing area. An image-forming control part 40 displays line head and line end lines 44, 45 in a circumferential printing according to the result calculated in the arithmetic part 36. A printing operation is advanced using these lines as the reference.</p> |
