SEALING RING, SLEEVE WITH A SEALING RING AND ITS USE

The sealing ring of elastic material has a smooth cylindrical interior (2) in relaxed state and radially outward protruding, flanged, toroidal rings (3,4), of different external dia. The two rings merge into each other. They are of a cord profile, corresponding to the line of 1 1/2 sinsoidal corrugations of unequal amplitude. The end face (6) of the sealing ring (1) on the side of the wider 'bead' ring (4) has a concave shape.
