A fuel feed device for an oil burner is capable of preventing fuel escaping into an area outside the burner pot when the outer end of the oil feed line is clogged by tar or the like. The fuel feed device comprises an arrangement for preventing the oil escaping, which is designed such that a connection between an air pipe and the fuel feed line is positioned below an arch formed at a part of the fuel feed line between the connection and the pot, so that the level of the fuel in the air pipe below the arch of the fuel feed line is depressed during operation of the burner; an arch is provided in the air pipe above the arch in the fuel feed line, and a return pipe is located between the oil reservoir and the fuel feed line.
