PURPOSE:To provide a desensitizer for a pressure-sensitive copying paper excellent in desensitizing effect, bleed resistance, offset printing suitablility and the like, comprising a product obtained by adding alkylene oxide to (denatured) rosin. CONSTITUTION:Used is a product obtained by adding alkylene exide (e.g.,ethylene oxide, propylene oxide) to rosin or denatured rosin (e.g., polymer rosin) having a carboxyl group so that approximately 5-100 mols of alkylene oxide is per equivalent weight of the carboxyl group. In other words, the addition product, a pigment (e.g., titanium white) and a mineral oil are kneaded to obtain a desensitizer (desensitizing ink). |
