PURPOSE:To prevent the content of an incoming message from being recognized by a third party by making a call to the visiting address of an automatic answering telephone possessor and informing the recording of an incoming message in voice at every time an incoming message is recorded so as to allow the possessor to listen to the incoming message at a leisure time. CONSTITUTION:In response to an incoming call from a caller, after a 1st reply message is sent from a 1st reply message sending means, the incoming message from the caller is stored or recorded, then the calling is applied by an automatic dialing means dialed to a preset telephone number and when the called telephone set is hooked off, a 2nd reply message sending means is activated to send a 2nd reply message representing the storage or recording of the incoming message to the possessor of the telephone set, thereby sending the fact of the storage or recording of the incoming message to the possessor of the automatic answering telephone set. Thus, the possessor of the automatic answering telephone set has only to listen to the incoming message at a leisure time by remote control.
