The invention relates to a device for producing an electric signal in accordance with the steering lock on a steering system for motor vehicles, in particular on a toothed rack steering system, having a drive element, driven by means of a steering wheel and a steering column, of the steering gear and a steering angle sensor, the steering angle sensor being provided with a movable sensor element in order to provide a simple and easy-to-mount design, the displacement of the said sensor element forming a measure of the steering lock and this sensor element being connected via a threaded connection to the drive element of the steering gear at its free end side and being connected indirectly or directly in a non-rotatable fashion to the housing of the drive element. |
