The invention concerns a drive device for two-shaft, non-lubricated rotary displacement compressors, in particular rotary-screw compressors, with a rotating pair of rotors. In order to create a drive device that combines in a simple fashion the functions of drive and synchronising gear for a two-shaft, non-lubricated rotary displacement compressor, it is proposed that at least one driving belt pulley (1, 21, 22) located outside the compressor (7) on a shaft be non-positively connected via a belt (2, 23, 24) to two driven belt pulleys (3, 4, 25, 26), each of which is located on one of the shaft extensions (8, 9, 28, 29) of the pair of rotors (12, 13) protruding from the compressor casing on one side. <IMAGE>
