PURPOSE:To deform the picture of an original optionally by changing the count value of a counter, which controls the output position of the main scanning direction of the picture, every one line or every plural lines, and changing successively the output position of the picture toward the main scanning direction. CONSTITUTION:A CD signal which is the recording start signal of respective line of the main scanning direction of a printer, is inputted to a left margin counter 324. Besides, the count value can be changed by a CPU 204. Accordingly, a deformed picture output can be obtained by increasing or decreasing the count value. For instance, at the same time that the main scanning X direction is main scanned by a line sensor like a CCD, a read position is shifted toward a subscanning Y direction. At this time, when the count value to be set in the counter 324 is successively changed, the picture of the part of the original, surrounded by coordinates X1, Y1 and X2, Y2, shifts successively every line toward the main scanning direction, and a reproduced picture, shown by 801B or 801C, can be obtained. |
