PURPOSE:To prevent a medium exceeding prescribed thickness from being thrown in, and a light beam and dust from the outside from being taken in, by providing a member for rotating and moving freely between a guide surface and the surface opposed to this guide surface, on the way of a guide path having the guide surface for guiding the medium. CONSTITUTION:In a usual state, a roller 4 comes into contact with the lower face of a notch part 3, and a disturbance light and dust, etc., which go in from an insertion port 1 are obstructed by the roller 4, and prevented from going into a device. On the other hand, when a medium being below prescribed thickness is inserted in the direction as indicated with an arrow into a guide path 2 from the insertion port 1, the roller 4 is raised by the medium and the medium can be thrown into the device. Also, when the medium exceeding the prescribed thickness is thrown into the insertion port 1, the roller 4 hits against the upper face of the notch part 3 and performs a role as a stopper, therefore, this medium is obstructed from being thrown in, at a position of the roller 4, and prevented from being taken into the device. |
