The invention proposes a connecting device for the releasable coupling of construction parts, in particular laminated components, e.g. walls, panels, claddings, etc. to posts, crossmembers, frames or the like. The connecting device is composed of a retaining cam 5 which can be fixed in a rotationally fixed manner on a construction part, and of a connecting pin 6 which can be inserted rotatably into the other construction part, the connecting pin 6 exhibiting a supporting head or collar 12 which is provided with a tool-engagement means, e.g. a transverse slot, and is adjoined by a shaft 13 which is provided, at or near its free end, with radial anchorage protrusions 14, whereas the retaining cam 5 contains an engagement through-passage with a profile which is adapted to the shaft cross-section and the anchorage protrusions 14 and at whose rear end there are located, as abutments for the anchorage protrusions 14, anchorage shoulders which are offset laterally at an angle. By virtue of the fact that the retaining cam 5 contains, at its front end, run-in ramps 24 which extend in a steeply helical manner and, at its rear end, bracing ramps 25 which extend in a steeply helical manner, it is possible for the connecting pin 6 to be aligned automatically and satisfactorily with the engagement through-passage of the appertaining retaining cam 5. <IMAGE>
