Scouring dust from cylindrical filter - by counterflow of pressurised gas from fan with auxiliary rotation nozzles

Dusty air is sucked by a rotary blower through one or more cylindrical and parallel filter cartridges mounted in a vertical stand. The accumulating layer of dust is periodically detached by stopping the blower rotation and applying counter/lowing pressurised air to an axial feed pipe concentric with the filter cartridges and thence to one or more blades of a rotary fan mounted on the feed pipe. Near the outer end of the blade is a first nozzle for emergence of pressurised air to rotate the fan, together with an adjacent nozzle modified in direction to apply a continuous jet of pressurised air for scouring the filter surface as the fan rotates. ADVANTAGE - No closure is required during cleaning, which proceeds at improved rate.
