GRANULAR, FREE FLOWING DETERGENT COMPONENTS AND PROCESS FOR THEIR PREPARATION

Granular detergent component having bulk wt. 550-800 (600-750) g/l is prepd. by spray-drying a mixt. contg. synthetic, mainly nonionic surfactants, inorganic carriers, organic washing auxiliaries and water bonded adsorptively or as hydrate. The compsn. consists of over 50 wt.% droplet or rodlet-shaped particles having average dia. 0.02-1.5mm, average length 0.1-5mm and ratio average dia. : average lengths 1 : 1.2 to 1 :10. The content of alkoxylated, nonionic surfactant is 15-28 (17-25) esp. 18-23 wt.%; the content of anionic surfactant is less than 1 (esp. less than 0.5) wt.% and that of soap is less than 0.2 (O)%.
