PURPOSE:To facilitate the operation of a remote control device for change gear with a remote shift operation of a transmission, by turning a control lever back and forth and at the same time oscillating a shift flange protruded from an rocking tappet set at the other end of the lever. CONSTITUTION:A ball part 6 of a control lever 7 is supported by a ball bearing 4 attached to the top plate 3 of a housing 3 of a base 1. A control knob 8 is welded at one of both ends of the lever 7 and a control member 9 containing a pair of rocking tappets 10 and 10' as well as the selection tappets is welded at the other end of the lever 7. While a terminal member 17 welded at the end part of a pipe 14 of a control cable 13 is supported by a baring 12 of the base 1 in a freely slidable and rotatable way. For instance, the knob 8 is turned toward A and therefore the member 9 rocks toward A'. At the same time the tappet 10 pushes a shift flange 15 toward C. Thus, the member 17 rocks the pipe 14 toward C so that a transmission is shifted. |
