PURPOSE:To prevent the no-load loss development because of a failure to detach a tertiary voltage regulator by connecting the main body to an on-load voltage regulator with a detachable attachment device and by connecting the tertiary voltage regulator to the on-load voltage regulator. CONSTITUTION:A tertiary voltage regulator III is connected to the opposite side of a mainframe at a on-load voltage regulator II. The mainframe 1 is composed of a series winding 11, a common winding 12, and a tertiary winding 13 and there are attachment devices illustrated by wall bushings 1-4 on the regulator II side and then a space between the mainframe and the regulator II is electrically connected by the attachment devices. The regulator II is equipped with a tap winding 22 connecting to a center point o as well as a regulating winding 21 and then the winding 22 is connected to the common winding 12 through a bushing 1 and further the winding 21 is connected in parallel to the winding 13 through the bushings 2 and 3. In this way, simultaneously with detachment of the regulator II from the mainframe 1, the regulator III is detached from the mainframe 1. Such a mechanism prevents the no-load loss development because of a failure to detach the regulator III.
