PURPOSE:To obtain a shutter opening/closing mechanism with a sure operation and high reliability, by providing a locking means which locks and unlocks an engaging member for shutter closing respectively by moving it in a direction to insert/pull out a cassette. CONSTITUTION:The tensile force of a spring 2 is set larger than a force minimum and necessary to slide a shutter 11. Next, when a VF cassette 10 is taken out from a mounting position, an engaging lever 1 stays at a position shown in figure at the beginning of drawing out the VF cassette 10 in the direction of O based on relation between the tensile force of the spring 2 and the sliding force of the shutter 11, and the shutter 11 is closed by pulling relatively in the direction of I'. A lug 4b is moved relatively against the VF cassette 10 according to the movement of the VF cassette 10 in the direction of O, and a locking member 12 is operated by the coming off of the lug from the locking part 12, and it is engaged with the lug 11c of the shutter 11, then, the shutter 11 is locked at a closing position. By pulling the VF cassette 10 further in the direction of O from such state, the shutter 11 is locked at the closing position, and when drawing force becomes larger than the force of the spring 2, it is drawn and moved in the direction of O.
