PURPOSE:To automatically discriminate the other party without providing many number of incoming lines by automatically transmitting a prescribed discrimination code from a subscriber side to a center, when the subscriber side is line- connected to the center side by a call from the subscriber side, and at the center side, discriminating the other party side subscriber through this discrimination code. CONSTITUTION:When a receiving equipment 30 establishes a lineconnection between some of the subscribers and the center C, after it receives the discrimination code, it continues to transmit a false ringing tone to the subscriber side. In the meanwhile, it accesses a data processor 60, and displays a necessary data related to the subscriber on a displaying device 61 from the discrimination code just now received. An operator looks at this display, and knows what subscriber the incoming comes from, and afterwards, it answers for the incoming through the telephone set 21 substituting for the subscriber. By using this system, in the center C, one line for receiving the call from the subscriber is enough, and the extremely economical system can be established.
