PURPOSE:To transfer a picture data to a local facsimile by an instruction from a personal computer by providing a bell signal generation circuit, which is driven by a network controlling part and outputs a bell signal, and a terminal, to which the local facsimile is connected and the bell signal is transmitted. CONSTITUTION:When the picture data is transmitted from the personal computer to its own local facsimile, The computer outputs a local connect instruction to a communication controlling part 8 through the first terminal 9. The said communication controlling part 8 receives this local connect instruction, and outputs a line switch instruction to the network controlling part 2. At receiving of this drive signal, the bell signal generation circuit 7 operates and outputs the bell signal. Because this bell signal is inputted to the local facsimile through an answer detection circuit 6 and the second terminal 10, this facsimile receives this bell signal and comes to an automatic incoming state. Therefore, the personal computer can transfer the picture data to its own local facsimile through a prescribed procedure.
